This blog is updated daily.
A general description is here.
The print methods for classes ‘"density"’, ‘"ecdf"’, ‘"kmeans"’, ‘"stepfun"’ and ‘"summary.lm"’ now consult ‘getOption("OutDec")’ even where ‘formatC()’ or ‘sprintf()’ is used.
Similarly when ‘cut()’, ‘dendrogram()’, ‘plot.ts()’ and ‘quantile()’ construct labels, and for the report from ‘legend(trace = TRUE)’.
(In part, wish of PR#15819.)
‘dput()’ and friends gain new controls ‘"hexNumeric"’ and ‘"digits17"’ which output double and complex quantities as, respectively, binary fractions (see ‘sprintf("%a")’) to full precision (and no noise) and as decimals with up to 17 significant digits.
