A general description is here.
Linear multivariate empty models such as ‘lm(y ~ 0)’ now have a correctly dimensioned empty coefficient matrix; reported by Brett Presnell.
The ‘numeric’ method of ‘all.equal()’ gets an optional argument ‘countEQ’. If that is true, the mean error is more sensible when many entries are *eq*ual.
‘outer(x,y, FUN = "*")’ is more efficient using ‘tcrossprod(u,v)’ instead of ‘u %*% t(v)’.
‘gc()’ gets new argument ‘full’.
